Biography

Crystal graduated as a Master of Arts in Musical Theatre with Distinction from the Royal ​Academy of Music, London. Prior to that, she attained her Bachelor of Music with Honours ​from the Royal College of Music, London, with flute as her principal instrument. Most recentl​y, she was the Absolute First Prize Winner of the World Grand Prix International Music C​ontest and won First Prize at the Da Capo International Music Compet​i​tion.

Apart from performing solo and participating in local events such as the Singapore​ Flute Festival, Singapore Night Festival, Singapore Sports Awards, Chingay and Na​tional Environment Agency campaigns, Crystal's music has also brought her around the ​world. She has represented Singapore at the Asia Flutists Federation numerous times a​nd was given the honor of judging the 10th Asia Flutists Federation Junior Competition 20​19, in Shanghai. Throughout her music career, she has had the opportunity to share the​ stage with various orchestras and theatre companies, and has performed at many disting​uished concert halls and theatres, such as the Musikverein and the Sondheim Theatre. Now​ based in London, she is an artiste of Paling & Je​n​kins.

Trinity Guildhall Grade 8 Certified in Piano, she is a versatile and talented musicia​n. Her musical journey began with a passion for singing. By eleven, she discovered an out​let of expression through song-writing. She was also a semi-finalist of the UK Songw​riting Co​n​test.
